PSP 9 tutorial

will be using these three avs for this tutorial

 
male av..................bg1.....................bg 2

increase colors to 16 mil and prepare to color the male av
the skin tone color that i am using is R: 202, G: 188, B: 177

settings for the color target brush are:

color the skin and then color the hooded sweatshirt using the following colors and settings

color is:

target brush setting *only change the opacity

av so far:

to color the jacket use the color R: 156, G: 148, B: 132

change your target brush settings only on opacity again .. this time to 100 and color the jacket

increase the bg's to 16 mil colors and copy and paste bg2 on top of bg1. make sure you can access your layers by
checking you layer palette under 'view/palettes.' click on the bg2 layer and change the blend mode from normal to
luminance [legacy]. the bg av should now look like this...

copy and paste the male av on top of the bg and erase around him
my settings are:

the avie should look something like this by now!

i am just going to erase a bit more to give it a more blended look.  just tap the eraser tool
around the right shoulder area a couple times to get the look you want... my settings for this are:

av lookin' sorta like this

time to font! make sure you are on the top layer of the av and go to 'layers/new raster layer' and 'ok'
using the font kissmekissmekissme in white and the settings are as follows:

apply it to the av .. position the text where you want it [see sample below] and
then go to 'layers/new raster/ok' ...then go to 'effects/3D/drop shadow and my settings are:

click ok and  go to 'selections/select none' and voila!

av so far!

make a new layer [layers/new raster/ok] and the font is hooge 05_57 and will look like this! [instructions under fonted av]

after you make the new layer, go to your text tool and apply the text [white for color] using the following settings.
i double spaced between each letter...always have the anti-alias 'off' and this font set on 6 to get a clear, small text

*apply and position the text where you want it and then go to 'layers/new raster layer/ok' ...
*go to 'effects/3D effects/drop shadow and apply using the same setting as before
*apply and then go to 'selections/select none'.. go to your layer palette and fade the white text to 58.
leave the drop shadow set at 100.
*go to 'layers/new raster layer/ok' .. and again to your text tool and
keeping the same font [hooge 05_57] and the same settings, change the font color to black and apply text.
*position the floating text where you want it under the white text and 'selections/select none'..fade that layer to 56.
*repeat the new layer process and using the text tool apply another layer of text -
use the same settings..same font [hooge 05_57] ..only this time use the color black and single space between letters...
apply.. position and 'selections/select none' ..

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok! merge all layers together [right click on the open layer palette and chose merge/merge all]
*using the filter KTP 3.0/seamless welder/settings are mode: seameless weld, glue: procedural +, opacity 67..hit ok
*next apply the namesuppressed softener filter..settings as follow:

almost done!
xero filter ... improver ..settings are as follows:

click ok!
now go to your layer palette, right click and choose duplicate layer
choose the colorize tool and the settings are:

click ok !
go to your layer palette and fade the colorized layer to 30..
SAVE! wo0t ..!!
